Back to Basics

Finally after beautiful summer vacations schools have reopened today, my younger brother in now in class 1, hehe, he looked so cute in his uniform, well dressed, properly oiled hair, shiny black shoes and a huge bag on his back.
Ahhh his bag was so heavy i don't how he's going to study this much.
I went to see off him at the bus stop, and i cud see all the mummy log were so worried about the kids...
aache se rehna
madem ki baat manna
khana theek se khana
ladai nai karna
window se hath bahar nai nikalna....
including my mom..but my chota bhaiya was more busy with his chocolate and he was least interested in all mummy ka pravachan..hehe
I was standing next to him and was watching him, he said to mom when I'll come back from school i want some surprise..."kuch khane ki cheez"..he defines surprise like this...
And not only my brother every kid around me was on same track.
First day of school, what craze yaar, my brother checked his pencil box thrice on the bus stop coz it was his new pencil box. He was then talking to his friend and was telling him about the new pokemon sticker he had.
And then came his bus, he wanted to grab the window seat, so he rushed towards the bus and he was busy in opening that, me n mom were looking towards him. He was still busy in struggling with window.
And his struggling wont stop here it will continue...coz life is not easy to live...he has to learn...to grow...to develop...
I wish him all the best!

simply beautiful....rather refreshing..the white background n the fresh green leaves...the girl n all tht......the new inerface u hav chosen is really gud.....more like u.....n different ...i wonder where u people get this.....

and about back to basics.i wish your chhota bhai is big enough to reply here himself....

but life is so simple ven u r younger.....kuch khane ki chheez surprise
kuch cartoons, stickers ki count valuable collection
time wid mommy-quality time
chocolates, gifts- happiness
ek zara dat , agle pal sab theek....

n ab it seems to be a big struggle thrugh out.some small achievemnets brings in responsibility of achiveing something bigger.....in teh rat race of life we over look the simplicity....the joys nearby....

i wish kal koi mujhe surprise de...chhota sa...kuch khane ki cheez wud be just fine......

Is that your brother in the picture? If yes, I must say ...he's really cute! Looks like one of those poster boys.

If if he's not, even then I guess, he must be really cute - since you are his sister:) Goodluck to him and you too!

Nice post! It almost took me back in early 80s when I was a kid like your brother. The first day my Grandpa took me to school and from the second day, i said, "I am grown up now and I will go by myself." Actually there was a cute little girl who stayed near our house and she was in my class too, we used to go school together. Those days!!

"Yeh Daulat bhi le lo,
yeh shauhrat bhi le lo,
bhale cheen lo mujhse meri jawani, magar mujhko lauta do bachpan ka saawan,
woh kaagaj ki kishti, woh baarish ka paani!"

Goodluck to your brother.
He really does have a long way to go at least when it comes to his education.

I remember I also use to get excited about new bag, stationary, books, etc when going to another class. Of course once school started none of it mattered. Would want vacations again soon :)
