Days of Insult

Think yourself truthfully, every time you had appeared in a competitive exam you knew what amount of effort you had given. What great efforts you had done to get in the ideal buildings of your interest. We walk through the way with something nothing inside. We expect sort of ‘chamatkars’ (magic) after exam. Whenever step out of examination hall we always knew what we had done. How many bubbles got filled with the traditional methods of inki pinki ponki or tossing eraser?

Believe yourself and you’ll stop blaming quotas, god and mathematics.

Believing yourself is believing others. Life starts and ends at one point and i.e., We.

About the last line:-

Mathematics is not that bad Miss ! Its about precision, accuracy and exactness.Atleast, I can assure you about mathematics- its beautiful and too lucid to be captured by any layman's imagination.

God- I do not think I want to hurt anyone's feelings so...

Quota- well, there are three kinds of things... one which we think is not right and do nothing but fret over it. second which we think is not right and go ahead to do something to change it. third which we think is exactly the way it should be. The choice is ALWAYS ours...

However, in the light of other lines of the post, I could safely say that you are absolutely right. But, don't you think that the "believing bit" is actually about working hard all year... I mean that is what my perception of confidence is. If you know something- then you are confident about that. If you do not know- you CAN NOT BE. You can fake it ofcourse and fool others but you will be caught anyway. Confidence/ belief are not independent qualities- rather they are dependent on what we have already inside. I hope I am making some sense to you...

yes ,the deed's done when one has submitted the paper, no amount of wishing and washing can change the ink on one's paper.

hmm.. i see no point in blaming other people or circumstances, every second of hard work pays back, and when those bubbles get inked randomly, its our fault..

I believe yet I blame. Sometimes, things just do not work out. Harmless blaming comes to my rescue, then. :)

@ mishraji

you said it right and you make sense too..
there are n number of people with unknown expectations...they do sort of ehsaan on coaching class or on their parents by sitting in such xamz..
confidence wale toh kahi na kahi excel kar hi jate hai..

this has been written for un-necessary crowd..jinhe pata hai xam mein kya hona hai.

very true.. its the perfect motivation

but its not always about blame..it kills u when u see people less deserving than you... make it where you couldn't because of a reservation...

Anonymous said...

Right ! Competition is good and so are sleek selection ratios of 45:1 or something like that... Afterall, more and more people should know when they are conquered

I may not know you, but I leave a comment about the way you have presented your thoughts and hope it will be taken in a positive sense.

You could have written the article in a more detailed fashion. Title doesn't seem to go well with the content.

Haven't seen any one write an article on 'quotas / reservations' and I wish to see it from you and how people comment on that.

And your 'about me' section raises some doubts about your confidence in yourself.

But I must admit that your blog is very attractive and colorful amidst darkness! Its very Good!

i gone through this phase twice
and its a very difficult situation to cope up

@ sandeep

i think it's fine to cut off the the details..amount written sufficiently presents the meaning..

quotas n resevations have become only a 'mudda'(issue) these days...it makes no big deal to write n discuss about them..we need some action too..simply discussing would never change the way it is going.

about me - i think it potrays more of honesty...i need more life n experience to grow up..

Sandeep said...

As you grow up, you gain experience but you got good amount of blogging experience....

Just 21 more articles for century!!!!
wow! Great n varied thoughts!

Keep going (gr8)!
