For THEM

So, its been few days now to the Mumbai carnage and what all we are up to, busy with work, exams, daily routine, TV, hobbies etc etc. We all have come out of that feeling probably, we do feel bad but we can’t stop moving.
The same Leopold Café is expecting new customers, the VT (CST) are tiring themselves in scheduling train arrivals, Oberoi and Taj are on the way of renovation. We are making up for the losses…losses of property, evaluating the number of zeros required for getting back the same details, yeah we must not forget about MR.CM who genuinely tried his best to reach that house where even the dog wouldn’t go.
But nothing will never be able to fill those bullet marks. No amount of money can bring those laughter’s back in existence, they would be heard only in silence now.
At the very moment I feel...No blames, no anger, no hatred... only remembering the departed souls.
ITNA YAAD RAKHNA, EK SATHI AUR BHI THA

Absolutely concur with you Neha...The families who lost their dear ones will never feel them around and its a heavy baggage to live with....

This event has changed the face of the country and the humanity. May god bless peace and heaven to the departed!!

Amen and peace!!

Touching post...
But, as you mentioned.. reality wins.. Life has to go on and it will.. Gone are the old days and they will remain as memories where we can recall as we wish

i think life has to move on...but at the same time..we should not forget...for to forget is to repeat ...
so all our anger, sadness, pain must be channelised in a positive way....for our own benefit..for it is our country and us who hve been hurt....

Can't be anymore true...what's even more sad is that the only answer to hatred today has become hatred...What with India contemplating to launch an attack on Pakistan, there's no telling what the world is heading for...

yeah, we can't do much can we? except move on. Moving on is not bad however, the problem is when we start forgetting. Your lines "Ek Saathi aur bhi tha..." make sure we don't forget.

Brilliant :)

I really respect ur feelings about what happened.... Me too feel the same...

But I think instead of just paying tribute to those who died we should do something to change ourselves... We sld 1st of all clean corruption from our country.. And if it is done nothing will happen... So many warriors and soldiers in the past who died for their country who r given "Paramveer n Shaurya Chakra" are promised to give money or many other things.. But its too sad to c that unless the soldier's family dnt approach the government they never get those "Big Promises" made by politicians... And thats too they dont get easily.. Still so many families are fighting to get it.... We have to stop ourselves 1st of all to pay for "Chaalan" instead of brining if we drive wrong and break road rules... We have to throw garbage in dustbin rather than anywhere... We need to be aware... And so many things... Blaming...? We cant blame anyone except us who are still sitting n doing nothing in home.. We need to do something and by that i don't mean we need to do war...

joie de vivre said...

@ tinni
hmm we wont forget

..n wat happened to you, xamzz ne band baja de teri??

joie de vivre said...

@ priyanshu
its all ok wat u said..but things dnt change over the night..
courruption and all evils would take time to eradicate but only when we would apply some opposing force...

joie de vivre said...

@ jess
thanx

Priyanshu Uniyal said...

Ofcourse it cant be eradicated in few days or months... But unless and until it wont start how will it be eradicated....?

Well if u are talking about "Opposite Force" as our army then according to my opinion its not right... Both nations have nuclear bombs n one nuclear bomb is too much to shake a country... Japan is still struggling.. The economy of the country goes down 50 decades... See Iraq... And dont forget one famous saying : "Eye for an eye makes the whole world blind...."

Nidhi said...

It was so touching and beautiful...

Hats off to the brave ones who lost their lives...

May they live in peace... Amen !

and that sathi went away and we moved on :( ..how did i miss this post re?

joie de vivre said...

@ priyanshu
yeah true..dis wrld will get blind.

but d opposing force wat i meant was, to fight back all evils inside...our country..

puttin guns remains a last option, and is necessary..wen things go above tolerance threashold.

joie de vivre said...

@ nidhi
amen
